Start Check-in for Worship Volunteers

When preparing to check volunteers into your worship services there are several routes you can take. Some churches have a space specifically set aside for volunteers (like a Volunteer Central) while others prefer volunteers to check in with everyone else.

If you want your volunteers to check in with everyone else, you will need to add the Worship Service activity schedules to any Super Check-in you have already created. You could create a single Super Check-in with all activity schedules that occur during a typical worship service period (for example, children's services, student services, and worship services).

If you take the route of providing a specific location for your volunteers to use for Check-in, then you simply need the activity code.

To locate the activity code:

1. Click Ministry > Activity/Room Setup > Activities. Ensure that the church wide services ministry is displayed in the ministry box at the top of the screen. If not, click Change ministry and select it from your list of available ministries.
2. Move down to the Activity grid at the bottom of the page and locate the children's service activity.
3. Copy the 4-digit code displayed in the Code column.
